Does anyone know of a mobile app or website which you can track certain fleet numbers along their journey? I'd except there is something out there that would do just that.

It's been discussed many a time but sadly the answer is no. All systems that have unit allocations are only internal for railway staff.

I've always said that I would gladly pay a subscription for a website that shows this information. If any railway workers want to invest in it, then I will happily pay!

In the meantime, there is the TOPS Request thread on the Allocations and Diagrams sub-thread for queries.

Plenty of ongoing discussion on the subject here and an up to date position on any developments. As it is a lengthy thread with other topics included it is suggested you start at Post #426

Must be a Scotland only thing then.

Its just based on what TOCs have signed up to it. The major one being ScotRail, but there’s also Cally Sleeper and GBRF (who also show their headcodes too rather than scrambling them).
