I have recently noticed a couple of new GA units being hauled from Old Dalby to Wolverton. GBRF have been doing the honours. My question is what are they going to Wolverton for? is it simply storage?
Bombardier traditionally did mileage accumulation for new units on the WCML based at Bletchley for the 387s /345s so this may just be a continuation of that.I have recently noticed a couple of new GA units being hauled from Old Dalby to Wolverton. I saw them in the Centre Sidings when I went past about an hour ago, it appears there was a path in for a loco to come and collect them from Leicester but that was cancelledI believe that's right. 720537 & 720538 out at the moment
I believe that path was for another working. The 720s seem to be out currently on the 5Q82 Wolverton - Wolverton via CreweI saw them in the Centre Sidings when I went past about an hour ago, it appears there was a path in for a loco to come and collect them from Leicester but that was cancelled
