In the summary of its half-year report that came out a few weeks ago, DSB said the new EMUs should be in service in 2024. We shall see.

One thing that DSB did announce recently was that the reception and commissioning of the EMUs will be carried out under temporary arrangements at Helgoland in Copenhagen, rather than at Fredericia. This is because the new depots won’t be ready when the trains start arriving, although if they don’t get on and order them soon...

but i still wonder if they will order double decker EMUs......

Maybe I am stupid but when I saw the thread subject my first thoughts were why would an emu require a tender? :oops: :oops:
