I'll have a mobile ticket, pretty sure it's OK to join this service at London Bridge even though it's ticketed from St Pancras, no doubt it will be rejected on the gate - so just checking is it legal and valid?? Cheers!

My understanding is that travelling short is allowed if break of journey is allowed.

What type of ticket do you have?

This will be fine. I am assuming you possess a ticket routed "Not Underground" or "Any Permitted" and that is from either London Thameslink or London St Pancras, though. I don't think there are any other tickets.

Thanks, won't be buying my ticket till nearer the time (covid!) and it will be a straightforward return (QR code) with no underground at all. I intend to alight at Euston, potter around a bit - maybe a trip on the Thames, alight at London Bridge to Brighton, but my return ticket is good to get me back to St Pancras where I would walk back to Euston.

I think tickets from St Pancras to Brighton are now actually issued London Thameslink to Brighton so will be accepted by the barriers at London Bridge no problem.
