North Camp to Ash Vale. Two completely different lines and less than half a mile apart

Following on from the OP's original Cotswold Line journey, I'd suspect that journeys from Kingham to Ascott-under-Wychwood, Combe, or Finstock would be very good candidates for least popular journey; the stations are all really quite close together and whilst there's Ascott village, Kingham, Combe, and Finstock have very little to shout about!

Kingham is a significant Village about a mile from the station

My point being that Kingham itself is a mile from the station: someone wanting to go to Kingham from, say, Moreton, and has alternate travel options will likely not go by rail and then bus or taxi. The nearest settlement to Kingham station is actually Bledington IIRC.

I would say Culrain to Invershin considering they both have extremely low pax numbers, no ticket facilities at either station and is the shortest distance between two stations in Scotland so I doubt there's even time to issue a ticket

That's going to be one of the "obviously silly" ones where enthusiasts will buy it with no intention of making the journey, though.

Maybe 1 or 2 people have done that but I bet that the 200 passengers that used it last year mostly went to/from Inverness

Could also throw in Connel Ferry to Polmont, I doubt anyone has bought that in years

Manors to Newcastle (or vice-versa)?
Prize for the laziest journey for anyone doing that

I did that journey once, and because I actually needed to go somewhere near Manors. I was travelling with a bicycle and so couldn't use the Metro.
I often have bought tickets to manors as used to live just up from there and because the weather was poor and i was coming off an LNER service, but i usually just bought it on the train if there happened to be one leaving within 15 mins of arriving at newcastle otherwise i just walked

Longbeck to Marske?

Only about 0.5km apart and both with quite low passenger numbers. I can't think of too many reasons a bus or walking wouldn't be an easier option given it's only 1tph service.

Liverpool Lime Street to Liverpool Central?

Liverpool James Street to Moorfields?

Both quicker walking.

I have done both before.
(as part of a trainspotting trip on the Merseyrail Day Saver - so TECHNICALLY hasn't been based on tickets sold between the stations)

Have never done James Street to Moorfields.
I have done Moorfields to Lime Street and Lime Street to Central when the weather is bad.
I have also done Central to James Street when Moorfields was closed for refurb.
Never purchased ticket for those single journeys though used my travel pass.

I think that is the thing with short inter-urban journeys: if you have a pass you might as well use it if the weather is poor, but you would probably wait for the rain to stop or ease off if you had to buy a ticket.

I've done both of those, though the only intra-Liverpool trip I've actually bought a point to point ticket for is James St to Central. It cost, if I recall, £0.15, with YP (in the 1990s).

I've done both of those too, using saveaway tickets, & now disabled Merseytravel issued pass.

I can't imagine many people do the full length Liverpool to Norwich (or more local stations towards each end, such as Widnes to Attleborough)?
I almost did with my family once when we rode it from Ely to Liverpool about 10 years ago when I used to live near Cambridge, still my longest train journey to this day and enjoyed the variety of scenery tbf (158 is reasonably comfy too); the relatives we were visiting there actually did ride that train service the full length when they were moving house from Norwich to Liverpool, very convenient for them
Stansted Airport to Attleborough/Wymondham/Brandon.
Stansted Airport to Nuneaton.
Stansted Airport to Coleshill Parkway.

Not sure if there is still a direct train in the morning from Gloucester to Stansted Airport. If so that must bring up a few pairings that seldom have tickets sold between them.
Audley End (my old local station when I lived in Saffron Walden - should be renamed Walden Parkway IMO) to all of the above would be even less popular than Stansted Airport!

Similar to travelling between Manchester Piccadilly, Oxford Road and Deansgate along the infamous Castlefield Corridor; I imagine Edinburgh Waverley to Haymarket is similar too!

Additional suggestions I have would be:
Sandwell & Dudley to Dovey Junction / Borth / pretty much anywhere on the Pwllheli line
East Didsbury / Newton-le-Willows / Earlestown to Llanfairfechan / Bodorgan / Ty Croes
Wilmslow to pretty much anywhere in Pembrokeshire, especially away from the main towns
Audley End to Worcestershire Parkway if XC's Stansted Airport to Gloucester is still a thing
Royston to Balcombe or any other obscure combo on the Cambridge to Brighton service

Tbf the possibilities are endless here!
