Mindful of both the 10 minute and 15 minute minimum connection times that so apply at this major railway station, we decided to head back to the more cheerful area of the south coast and board the 1359 Southern service to Brighton that arrives there at 1457 on Thursday afternoon.

Just a general query. Has the 10-day closure of Redbridge Causeway affected the Bluestar 12 service or has that closure now ceased?

Yes, it’s been re-opened. I think they finished up in late August/early September.

We seem to be on our second Thursday of the week! Luckily, all the services we have taken have the same schedule on Thursday and Friday, aside from post #28,281.
