Mine's one of the Forum ones, couldn't find one representing Rangers FC with a low enough res (it deserves nothing less than maximum pixels!)

Mine is of me in the cab of D1013 at the end of a driving experience course on the Severn Valley Railway. Hard to believe it was almost 5 years ago! :o

One of the forum defaults can't think of what I'd pick otherwise. Though I might just have a little look now.

Cant remember the number, but it was the MML set on loan to XC at Darlington (or Virgin, was it that long ago?) a while back.

Just fancied painting over it one day, been there ever since.

Mine is out of our honeymoon albums.

It was taken on our way back home on 10th September 2002 while we were doing 1,340mph at 56,000 ft en route from JFK to LHR on board G-BOAF for flight BA002.

I'll give you three guesses as to what mine is...

And I bet you've got it in one! It's the flag representing the letter M in the system of International Maritime Signal Flags! It is flown to signify that "my vessel is stopped and is making no way through the water". Incidentally, it's also the flag of Tenerife.

I have a feeling that it's got another use somewhere. I don't know why...

Mine's pretty easy to work out, it's the old Great Northern route logo used by Network South East.

google search of a class 158. the 158 in question is actually in Gloucestershire according to the source, working XC duties in the mid 90s.

Well, it's an EM2 (or Class 77 if you prefer), in their original (and best) livery of BR passenger black with red lining. This particular loco is 27000 Electra preserved at Butterley

A well known publicity photo of one of the Midland Region Blue Pullmans undergoing pre-service testing on the Wirksworth branch.

I’ve admired and been fascinated by the Blue Pullmans for years, and got my hands on Kevin Robertson’s book about the trains at Christmas, so I googled this image and hey presto, new avatar for the new year. I’ll probably have changed it to something else all too soon.

It's a Singapore Airlines A380 lifting off runway 27L at Heathrow, taken from the Esso garage photo spot.

I walked 15 miles to get the photograph I'm using as my avatar. It's Victoria Bridge crossing the River Severn.
