Correct. Flying aircraft carriers equipped with the Sparrowhawk “parasite” fighter. Your turn to launch.
The RAF went one better.

At airport. Traveling today. Can’t monitor sorry. So OPEN Floor please.
Next question:

What was the last front-engined car and the only 4WD car to win a Formula 1 race?

Sorry if I ramble but here is my train of thought. I remember in (1970ish) the Jensen FF motor car. I remember it stood for Ferguson Formula. This was by a famous inventor Harry Ferguson who also did great work with tractors but hugely on four wheel drive cars. So I think the answer could be a Ferguson design but I can not at this moment think of the actual model. Am I getting warm?

I wonder why this general knowledge quiz periodically turns into a detailed maritime knowledge quiz.... :p
Probably for the same reason it occasionally becomes a football, television, history, geography, etc. themed quiz.

That's good enough, it was the Ferguson P99. Your turn (but be careful not to pose a motor racing question)...

I think it's rather a niche topic, not exactly to file under general knowledge.
Maybe not surprising on a transport forum.

Lots of the questions are niche, just because you don't know doesn't mean it's not general knowledge for someone.

When questions ask for details on sporting events from decades ago I feel that's quite niche, but that's just because I don't know.
