Here's a couple of recent photos. First up is the rare sight of steam once again at New Street, even rarer to be an 'out of region' GWR loco, as 5043 powers out between the sunshine annoyingly

Then 6E41 snaking it's way across the junctions at Kings Norton

Last up is something different. This is an image, rather than a photo. As some of you are aware Arriva hold a staff photo competition where staff can submit any Arriva transport for a prize. After entering twice and finsihing second both times to creatively processed and composited images, I decided, if you can't beat 'em, join 'em. So this is one of my efforts I intend to enter to the next competition (it runs quarterly).

Cheers for looking

I really liked these photographs; they'd look great as screensavers!

Thanks for the compliment, I think you'd need a couple of verticals to fill the screen lol. I do have a screensaver produced of my own images, helps to stroke the ego while I ponder haha

I passed underneath the kettle this morning as it was being dragged into New St. I was heading out towards Derby
It always looks sad to see a loco dragged, like a dog with it's tail between it's legs, but in this case it's a means to an end.

If you don't win this competition, your management need glasses.
