Errr, Smethwick!
The RailAir website http://www.railair.com/index.php very unhelpfully doesn't appear to say explicitly - anywhere - what period a period return is valid.

But if you start the process to buy one online it asks you to specify a return journey date 'within three calendar months'. So that might be the answer. But if a company doesn't bother to provide basic information....

Mind you, it does have the Christmas and Boxing Day timetables available .... for 2010.

Thanks for responses. I should've said that I'd already tried their website without success. As per Smethwickian's comment about them asking for a return date within 3 calendar months then that logically should be the period for eligibility.

May be different online in that case. If you buy from a railway station it is one calendar month - just tried it by issuing Reading-Heathrow Bus SVR (route direct (ie Railair coach) - expiry of return is as expected - 15/08/11.
For the record the restriction code is 8D - Valid by any railair link coach to/from Reading.

Got a random non-issue to do now

Just out of interest, can you purchase Priv tickets for the Railair from a rail ticket office?

Or would it only give the discount on the rail portion of the journey, if applicable?

PRIV tickets do seem available on long distance flows, and flows priced by LMR.

On Reading-Heathrow journeys Priv is available only for seasons. On longer journeys (I've checked Birmingham-Heathrow), the discount seems to be around 50% vs the expected 75%, so presumably the discount is given only on the rail part.
