Saw this is Berlin, and I wondered what they were as the windows were oddly spaced and I was intrigued at what they were used for.

I've since found that they are Talgo sets used on sleeper trains. Does anyone have any more information on them?

And is it just me or are they amazingly short?! (Height wise)

they are indeed talgo sleepers.

I can recommend them, they are remarkably comfortable to ride and sleep in.

I travelled on them in 2002 so Im happy to know they are still in use, even if not with DB.

The ride was noticably smoother than other sleepers that I have been in, and the cabins were roomy.

Thanks for that. I got Chrome to translate it. Very helpful :)
