Thought I would let people know that there are couple of jobs that were put on the website today for Rugby. Platform staff and on board.

So when the contract finishes and they've done a good job they're made perm or given a thankyou and a P45?? :|

Things up in the air at the moment because of the WCML franchise.

I'm currently a casual weekend member of staff and really want a permanent job, just got to get your foot in the door I suppose.

Well, the contract is clearly advertised to end on the given date. Having said that, a number of permanent staff I've spoken to say they started on fixed term contracts.

Have you got access to the intranet? There are permanent vacancies advertised for Brum Int and Lancaster on there...

Personally I do, but you need to get onto IT about it (best of luck with that!) They can sort it out for you.

The team at Rugby are pretty nice though.
They seam more of a team compared with some other stations I visited.
