I've been silly. There is no evidence of a second line, it could be a single bidirectionally signalled line. It is Whinhill.

Here you go. I won't be on for too long for you to solve it, so I'll be fairly liberal with clues.

I'm not convinced the station is going to still be open. I'd estimate the phot was taken in the 70s/80s. Other than that I really don't have a clue. Yayypn?

My conclusion
I have studied this photo for sometime and my conclusion that it is an old photo suitably altered.
The station has GWR spear fencing which with a magnifying glass can be seen on the open gate on the left hand platform. On the right can be seen a Southern Railway concrete hut.
My conclusion is it was a GWR/ SR Joint station

Suggest Chilcompton on the S&D.closed 1966

This is only my wild guess so I could be wrong.......!!!

Reference - my first guess of Chilcompton has now been checked as WRONG..!

OxtedL-- Unlikely to be Glastonbury as it had three platforms including long canopies.

Well, Draycott fits well with the topography. I can imagine that being the end of the Mendips... :p
