  • Alright Matt I need your help. I've just received my letter of employment and I'm slightly confused. I've got 2 copies of my contract and they want to me send 1 copy back so they know I've accepted the job but they haven't provided me with a envelop or stamp (which I don't mind buying) or can I take the copy on my first day of training which starts on Monday. Sorry to be a pain mate
    Hi Matt,
Its been a while, how are you doing?
Just a quick question and I would be delighted to hear from you.
I have my interview for the position of Guard, Waterloo next Tue. In the role play, supposing I was to deal with a passenger who is late for an important meeting as a result of train delay, what do you suggest would be the best way to go about the situation?
Am just preparing myself and I really do want this job, please kindly help.
    Cheers.
    Olu.
Thanks Matt for your response, I do appreciate. I had my assessment today and I am through to the Interview stage "yippee"
    Once again, thank you.
    Hi Matt,
Nice to meet you. Am a newbie on here and I just received a pack from SWT that I have an assessment next week for Guard, Waterloo job.
Could you please advise me on what to expect, what I can do to maximise my chance of success. I really need this job.
    Thank you for your time.
    Olu
    hi Matt,

I am currently in the process of applying for a train guard position at Guildford with SWT.
I have an idea of the shift pattern worked by the guards at this location, but what is a daily Guard work schedual ie what trains and routes you would cover. could you perhaps give me some examples again ie typical day and routings etc.

    Many thanks

    Gareth
