Ahh really well I’m finding it pretty damn interesting, but then again this is the first time I’ve really looked into trains, but just from this module and the state of the job market I think it's somet to go into as they're plenty of jobs going thankfully. Would still say the module may be a bit broad for you if you know a lot about them already but they do get in alot of guest engineers from balfour beatty etc, which does give you a deep insight. From what I know Chris Moodley does it, but as i said its many guest speakers differing each week. Also if you are propa into trains, dissertations can be done in 3rd and 4th year on them, as i’m looking at doing one for my fourth on high speed rail, not sure exactly what on yet though!
