    I believe the bus service from Skelmersdale to Liverpool is painfully slow as well. A train would really make a difference for commuters.

    not so 1618485714 Cressington is nice and Aigburth is too, nice old station building , old fashioned gas type lamps at Cressington. I like the art deco station on the Wirral.

    Yes actually your right Euston isnt cold, but I still find it grim as a station. 1618485381 Yes its a nice little terminus . Actually many of the Merseyrail stations out of the centre are quite pleasant.

    Warrington BQ , Crewe , Euston , Eltham ( which replaced the far more pleasant Eltham Well Hall and Eltham Park) , Slade Green. All cold and grim.

    Wont that be rather slow ? I understand it pretty bendy. If you were going to go that way it would make great sense to have a station for Widnes as the line is far more central than Widnes / Hough Green are.

    Kirkdale sounds like its a Yorkshire Dales beauty spot, good for walking, I'd stop on the train if I was you. Belvedere , is certainly not a 'beautiful view'
