I see on the latest First fleet changes on WM Buses in Photos website the rest of the X39 B9s have gone to Hengrove and Discover 69505 to LH.

69501 suffered fire damage back in December and was parked up at the depot. In April 69505 was involved in some sort of accident and parts from 69501 were used to repair the near side front damage.

    Shearings' parent company enter administration

Very much enjoyed a holiday with Shearings at Fort William about a year ago staying at Caledonian Bay Hotel. Driver and all the staff were brilliant. Hotel building itself certainly in need of TLC though.

The comment I heard was that 30871 was taken out to make way for the Diamonds to be repainted. Not clear if that meant a full or partial repaint. Has Bath Weston Island depot got the facilities to perform a full repaint? I thought that work was done at Avonmouth. Mentioning 30871 I was...

33729 was with First Manchester at Oldham not with Diamond.

30871 being converted to a library bus has had to be moved out of the paint/body shop at Bath to make way for the Diamond arrivals. I’ve had them described to me as ‘looking tired!’ But then as they were due to be taken off service Diamond would hardly lavish much attention on them.

Surely Bath would be a good bet? Do you mean they were parked at services? Steve White (and Swifty) report the arrival of nine at Bath and more of the 14 were due today.

33709 is at Weymouth along with 33726 which I’d missed off this list.

The press article about Milsom Street didn’t really give any clues about a revised route or terminus for the P&R service. There was one quote ‘We also tried out the junction for Saracen Street (which is halfway up Broad St) and that worked with our buses too.’ Not sure what that meant.
