Transfer of LNER HST 125s to East Midlands Railway (EMR)

The current reduced timetable. If EMR started preparing the ex-LNER sets for traffic five months ago most of the them would be in traffic now.

Transfer of LNER HST 125s to East Midlands Railway (EMR)

Personally I'd use the existing 222's to bin the existing EMR sets as a back-up plan if the 30th July 2020 deadline is not met. However, some of the 222's are tatty and tired now lol.

Transfer of LNER HST 125s to East Midlands Railway (EMR)

Scotrail problems were mainly poor condition of the coaches, loss of skilled workers to Hitachi, different measurements per coach, under-estimating of the scale of work involved and an over-confident December 2019 project completion date. XC problems were mainly design issues with the new...

Transfer of LNER HST 125s to East Midlands Railway (EMR)

Have anymore ex-LNER sets entered traffic yet? It seems to be taking too long getting the LNER sets in traffic imo? :|

    Class 345 progress

Is the emergency timetable running 2tph Paddington-Reading and 2tph Paddington-Heathrow only? If so, are the 345's in traffic to Heathrow or is it still 360's?

    Class 345 progress

According to Crossrail via Wikipedia 'early 2020' is the next phase for 345's running to Heathrow. All I wanted to know in detail is whether its 4tph Paddington-Heathrow T4 (replacing the 360's) or just 2tph, alongside the 360's. Hence current information is vague lol.

    Class 345 progress

Any further updates regarding the 345's operating to Heathrow? Will they operate 2tph initially (replacing the Hayes & Harlington and T2/T3 to T4 shuttles) or 4tph Paddington to T4, entirely?

ScotRail HST Introduction - Updates & Discussion

You also forgot to mention the different length measurements per coach, since they were hand-built from 1975-82.

    Northern 323s refurbishment and cascade

Lol the 323's hardly have these faults, though. Hence reliable. 323's are cheaper to lease, easier to drive (from a drivers point of view), easy access to drivers cab from the platform, better comfort and driver visibilty, better acceleration and have more seats then the 319's and 331's when...
