    I remember a few years back (2015 I believe), a FGW Blue livered Class 166 centre car was put inbetween a 2 car Dynamic Lines livered Class 165, running temporarily as a 3 car unit. Does anyone remember, and have any details about that, and perhaps even pictures?

    If ADD is activated, how does a driver check for pantograph damage, as they cannot safely access the roof? Could be damage that's not really visible when standing platform level next to the train, especially if the pan has dropped down.

    That's correct. In that 6 day week, you get one rest day, which as far as I remember for everybody was Saturday, so you only work Mon-Fri.

    The standard class seats on the new HEX 387s have extra padding on them, even if they're ironing boards, as they're more comfortable to sit on when I tried it. Business class on the other hand, in my opinion, are firmer than the standard class seats.

    Reading gets lots of services, Swindon 5tph, whilst I may slightly agree with Chippenham and Bath, it's still only half an hour wait for the next train to those, compared to an hour.

    If they were "planned" to couple and detach, why so many issues, that could've been avoided by having the trains designed and built properly, in order to avoid any issues?
