Which rail route in the US would have the best business case for starting a regular passenger service?

would require a new line but looking at popular US domestic Air routes Atlanta (from other flight connections) to Orlando (for Disneyland/Universal) as a dedicated High Speed Rail line could work

who actually owns the international facilitates Eurostar uses?

issue is Stratford was never designed for Reversing, it was for regional services but the trackwork needed shouldn't be that hard to add if really required

Network Rail and Chiltern Railways apply for train protection (ATP) exemption

ECTS and the need to Electrify in the next 20 years makes me wonder if these plus new rolling stock should be bundled together as a Chrilterns Modernisation program like what happened with th GWML (hopefully with far fewer cutbacks) Order some Aventra with a sub fleet AC/DC capable units that...

    TOPs Classifications

at this point you have to wonder with how convoluted TOPS has gotten with weird edge cases and allocations full of now retired classes if it would be better to press the big old reset button on it and while we are at it just move to something build around UIC numbers then just modified to fit it?

    OHLE on GWR

would not be surprised if 373's where designed not knowing if it would affect drivers so aired on side of caution but later found to not be an issue so 374 where allowed bigger front windows

What is the difference between 'centralisation', The Williams Review and renationalisation?

well we dont know what the Williams review will ultimately say but difference between centralisation and nationalisation is who runs the trains with centralisation TOC's still exist and provide the drivers, staff etc but with government oversight on issues such as ticket price and timetabling...
