    Potential Prosecution (forged ticket)

Why have you acknowledged this happened with your friends agreement? You have just highlighted an offence of conspiracy and unnecessarily brought her into the frame when she has a perfectly good defence of not having a clue her ticket was going to be used in this way.

    Bus ticket acceptance on trains

When the Blackwall tunnel is closed bus 108 users are provided with oyster/ contactless charge back after taking a jubilee line train from North Greenwich to Canning Town https://tfl.gov.uk/status-updates/major-works-and-events/blackwall-tunnel-closures

Is a zone 1-6 travelcard valid from Heathrow Elizabeth line

I have a zone 3 to 6 annual travelcard and either tap in and out at Hayes and Harlington or make sure to not tap out any point within zones 1 and 2 when heading back to Upminster from Heathrow. If, for example, I go via Tower Hill and Fenchurch Street without tapping out at Hayes I worry that...

    EMR refusing Scottish money

Wales shares the same legal system as England and apart from the recently devolved powers has to all extents and purposes was conjoined with England for hundreds of years. Very different situation to Scotland and NI who have their distinct legal systems with significant divergence.

Leeds man jailed for 22 months for defrauding LNER (and perverting the court of justice)

Precisely. One gentleman who ran a market stall selling counterfeit clothes on a Sunday market had a heart condition and attempted to argue he could not be given unpaid work for health reasons.I think he received 200 hours unpaid work in a charity shop covering a Sunday shift. He wasn't best...

    Annual Gold Card limitation

    I stand corrected. Thank you.

    Annual Gold Card limitation

Thanks for the clarification. The map and tickets should state that though as otherwise you would be pretty much clueless.

    Annual Gold Card limitation

The not past Banbury on XC rule is pretty bonkers. Does this mean if I jump on a XC train with a discounted gold card ticket from Leamington to Reading holding an all trains via Banbury London terminals ticket I am fare evading??

"Any Permitted Route" doesn't mean "any route"

Looking at Route GC. Does that mean I could buy a London to Leamington Spa open rtn via High Wycombe and come back with a stop over in Oxford?

    SE High Speed services

Consider that Westfield Stratford is quite large and Stratford international may be farther from the shop your partner is headed for than Stratford station itself. Having said that the journey to Stratford International from St Pancras is quite fun in terms of feeling the acceleration. Nowadays...

Clapham Junction - Is getting from platform 1 to platform 9 in six minutes at 11pm on a Tuesday doable?

One option if you want to take the risk - I wouldn't personally as the worst case scenario is pretty significant to gain a minor advantage- is to look at realtime trains for the past few days prior to the night in question to get a sense of reliability.

HS2 Euston - Development, design and construction news (not speculation, please)

If only the decision had been made initially to link with HS1 via St Pancras notwithstanding the effect on Camden market.

    London Overground line names announced

Couldn't they have been named after shapes in the same way the circle line is? Alternatively animals could have been fun and memorable.

Euston departure board to be moved

Went through yesterday and the main board was off. I tried to decipher the smaller boards and found them surprisingly confusing. The information appears to be organised by TOC. As I was going to Watford I had more than 1 TOC to choose from. If I had followed the glaringly obvious option I would...

Euston departure board to be moved

Nor was I. Being equally sarcastic I suppose someone could decide that platform information and train times were subject to intellectual property rights and therefore only available to those who pay for access. Pretty much the same concept was in place for many years with weekly TV listings.

Euston departure board to be moved

Surely they could provide a premium rate phone number or text service for people to obtain platform information? Perhaps £1.50 a minute or per text would be reasonable nowadays.

RailUK gets a mention in the Daily Mail

It's the fail. Never passed as journalism in its life. Made a lot of money for it's owners though.

Passenger loading late at night on rural branches

The Thames clipper from Barking Riverside is subject to numerous cancellations in my limited experience. Waiting 1 hour on the side of a deserted dock somewhat pates the appetite for a repeat journey.

Disruption on HS1 due to signalling problems caused by flooding in the Thames Tunnel.

Please correct me if I am wrong but there isn't a Thames tunnel between Stratford and St Pancreas. The tunnel does go under the Lea at one point.
