Transport Investigations “administrative option” - is this fair please?

Hi all Just wanted to provide an update please – I’ve had helpful, fair, and courteous dialog with the TIL prosecution department RE the specifics of my case - in summary: [1] Had I replied “Parson Street” at Bridgend I would’ve been asked questions about my journey, and then allowed to...

Transport Investigations “administrative option” - is this fair please?

Have also spoken to TfW customer services (generic queries, nothing specific to my case), and the person I spoke to (who was very helpful) was very clear that the obligation is for a passenger to seek out a conductor. Many thanks TP

Transport Investigations “administrative option” - is this fair please?

I remember vividly the gist of the conversation I had with the revenue inspector - I was told no I cannot buy a ticket because of how far I’ve come / where I’ve come from (cannot be exactly sure of teh words used), and had plenty of opportunity. I remember then joking how I could have just said...

Transport Investigations “administrative option” - is this fair please?

Also, in my written answer taken by the inspector I said Parson Street, plus expected departure time (17:06) and how long it was delayed by (14 mins). All exactly true, and pretty elaborate for someone wanting to change their story after being cautioned – but maybe some people are genuinely...

Transport Investigations “administrative option” - is this fair please?

Hi 30907 Thank you for your reply, and no worries, fully understood! When the barrier person asked me where I’ve just come from (which they did), I just said Bristol. I can’t escape that fact, it’s a reasonable response from someone from Bristol. Had I been asked what station have I...

Transport Investigations “administrative option” - is this fair please?

Hi all Applogies for any ambiguity over Bristol & tickets in my posts - I’m certain I did mention just “Bristol” @ Bridgened, in the basic context of where I’d come from…. ….this isn’t verbatim, but @ Bridgened the events and conversation was like this: [1] I goto first desk...

Transport Investigations “administrative option” - is this fair please?

Hi Brissle girl, thanks for the swift reply And yes, exactly that please - two single tickets. When I provided my statement I did say "purchase all tickets" at Cardiff, and also gave these exact details in my first reply TIL. Just being transparent. Happy to keep it brief in my next...

Hi all Huge thank you again for your replies and advice! I am preparing my letter, I’d just like to check one detail please. Does the fact I intended to purchase individual tickets for both legs (was cheaper than a single for the whole journey) carry an argument there was no Interchange...
