    National Express Coaches Discussion

No idea, I was expecting all of the NETS coach companies to adopt the NETS livery & potentially just retain local fleetnames to make it easier to transfer coaches around the group of companies, however, repaints currently seem to have halted. Morton's have had a batch of 5 new E400MMC's...

    National Express Coaches Discussion

As of Monday 9th Oct, Clarkes no longer operate any vehicles on National Express diagrams, all Clarkes workings on the 025, 400 & 450 have moved to National Express Wandsworth depot. I suspect that Clarkes may be one of the two National Express Transport Solutions depots that are being closed...

TfGM Bee Network - fleet discussion

That's still the case regarding 40728-32 & 40761, those have since been supplemented by 40822/23, as the Rotala Tranche 1 small franchises require 8 double deckers I understand - all should be refurbished with Bee Network interiors too. 40825/28/33/40/43 I believe are staying at Diamond North...

    TfGM Bus franchising

The driver training part of Weston Street, Bolton was always staying with Rotala, they've even acquired a 3 storey office block in Bolton Town Centre for use as both training offices & driver accommodation. Rotala also want an operational base in Bolton to help retain as many existing drivers...

    TfGM Bus franchising

No they won't, they will be split between Eccles & the former Arriva Bolton depot which Diamond NW will be taking over the lease on as both an operational base & Rotala Group Driver Training centre

Diamond Bus East Midlands (was Midland Classic of Burton)

I very much doubt that. Burton is too small to be of interest.

Diamond Bus East Midlands (was Midland Classic of Burton)

Sounds like nothing more than driver gossip. 1690361825 Exactly, Stagecoach had the option to buy Midland Classic when it was originally put up for sale & didn't.

Diamond Bus East Midlands (was Midland Classic of Burton)

No, I've already said where those 10 ex First Streetlites are heading, Diamond WM. 1690322924 They will end up in the West Midlands, I made that post on the WMBus Photos Forum 1690323314 I understand that all National Express & Diamond Buses operating in the West Midlands will now need to be...

Diamond Bus East Midlands (was Midland Classic of Burton)

40615 was repainted in Preston base colours & stored at Tividale for a while, before being repainted again in to Diamond 2 Tone livery for Burton. 40614 was despatched to Burton in as acquired ex Yellow Bus livery. I assume it has gone for painting local to Burton now, as Rotala are currently...

Diamond Bus East Midlands (was Midland Classic of Burton)

They've just had 2 extra B5TL's / Wright Gemini 3's 40614 & 40615 for extra schools - those were originally intended to go to Preston.

Diamond Bus East Midlands (was Midland Classic of Burton)

There are no Diamond Perry Barr or West Bromwich depots. Tividale is the main Diamond West Midlands depot. And none of the buses listed are planned to transfer to Burton.

My original post on the WMBus Forum doesn't mention Burton. Suggest you re-read it.

Diamond Bus East Midlands (was Midland Classic of Burton)

As my original post says, they have been acquired for Diamond West Midlands. A number of older Solo's & E200's are to be withdrawn from Kidderminster Depot, these 10 extra Streetlites will replace those buses either directly or indirectly (tbc) Burton is Diamond East Midlands.

    TfGM Bus franchising

The list of sales to Go North West I originally posted hasn't changed on the latest Rotala Group Offical Fleetlist, 40822 & 40823 were always being retained by Rotala (i.e. 25 newest Streetdecks), therefore, these could be seeing service with Diamond Bus North West on the small franchise wins...

One slight issue with that statement, Tranche 2 starts in March 2024 & Tranche 3 Franchises including Sharston don't start until Jan 2025
