The first 30 minutes after your finish time wasn’t overtime it was known as time for the queen. After 30 minutes you would then accrue overtime

Hi Pete, On my trainee driver course we had two trainee’s both over the age of 50 and I was 38. I would suggest 33 is a great age as you have bags of life experience.

Does anyone know what the pay structure is after the completion of initial training. At Northern it’s spread over a 3 year period but I’ve never seen Cross country pay scales.

Take a look at Romiley and Marple areas. Both have train stations and 15/20 minute into town. Nice pubs, restaurants and good schools

Yes I failed the same test first time round with Northern and when I returned I only had to do all three computer tests. Don’t worry the 6 months goes by a lot quicker than you think
