East side for the views of the estuaries/sea in Devon. Table seat, assuming it is window-aligned, gives a better panoramic view. I like to be towards the rear of the carriage, so as not to have a bulkhead breaking up the view.

In my limited observational experience the tubes often seem to be about four times as long as they need to be, and flap about in the slipstream. I look forward to learning the reason for the excess! Many Thanks - Morpethcurve
