    I have never in probably 5 or more years found a National Rail Station Ticket Office or Machine that would issue more than to Zone 6. Including Kings Cross, St. Pancras, Euston or any other. You can certainly get them from LU Machines.

    The nice thing with the "Wayfarer" tickets is that they are valid through the afternoon peak, unlike many other local rovers.

    Similarly with holders of Metro Cards being told they can only use services that stop at Marsden, or buy all the way though to Huddersfield. Does anybody know why TPX have been allowed to cease the Day Return fares between Manchester and Huddersfield?

    For it to not to show the low level platform because it "happens to be out of date" would mean it was over 40 years old. I don't think it is though is it? DLR and LU have several. But with the almost complete abolition of slam door stock on the mainline, I don't know of anywhere where it is...
