Correct, but those are the refreshed 465/9s which we've already established are in much better condition. The 465/0/1/2s referred to are truly grubby inside which doesn't show very well in the photo.

Perhaps any day other than a warm summer one, when an air-conditioned journey home is very much appreciated.

Do 377/1s have the slightly odd "extra" luggage space (instead of two seats) that is a feature on some Southern 377s? And if so, will it be removed and replaced with seating? I can appreciate that on services to Gatwick this feature might be useful, but think less so on the SE routes.

Here's a pic taken on an afternoon last week, just before the peak period. The narrowness of the platform is pretty evident. As mentioned in my previous post, I really wouldn't feel comfortable with people trying to pass behind me in a hurry at a busy time.
