Modern Railways back issues for sale

I've been going through a home move lately and I'm looking to reduce the number of magazines I have. I've got a pretty much complete collection of Modern Railways going back to around 2005. I am looking to sell them at cost, so you just need to pay the cost of postage and packaging or be willing...

    Rail3D - Build 100

An important point to add: Rail 3d build 100, now has lever frame signal boxes modelled. Which is very impressive. Especially as you pull the various levers, watch the signals move and a train move away past your box. Definitely worth a look if you are interested in lever frames and the...

    ...and a bus sim

If you want a bus driving game, you could always try vbus http://vbus.rulez.pl/indexen.html? However Bus Driver does seem more feature full (and in English), so might be more interesting to use.

    Long-lost line near Pilning

Well, almost, that branch is somewhat disused, Im guessing Beeching, but I could be wrong. Anything going from Severn Beach Branch to the mainline, goes via Chittening and Hallen, on the Avonmouth Goods route.

    Web FeedBack

I must say I was quite impressed with the images themselves. They certainly would make some nice eye candy for your website. However I must admit, I don't relish the prospect of paying for a Turbo... but never mind, as long as I get to keep it I wont complain too loudly!

    How to make a EXE.file

Yes there are lots of ways. But really its more helpful to know what you want to do with your EXE file firstly.

    RETB

By the looks of it that's Tre-Sim, the version of SimSig made for Network Rail (or who ever it is now). As Geoff M has said (and has been repeated many times no doubt) he is under contractual agreement not to release any IECC he has produced for Network Rail, but he can upgrade the panels he has...

    Computer Gender

All very well, but can you speak the languages of computers, sure you know what the characters mean. - As an aside to cockfosters, the numbers are the data - It might be better in a vague way, to compare the numbers to letters. You know what the letters mean, but if you had to intercept a...

    Windows Operating Systems.

In much the same way Microsoft Works is best for your purposes? And a computer with out a virus scanner/limited time use virus scanner is best for your purposes? And microsoft paint is the best program for your image editing purposes? Just a small thought? Ian

    Avoid Sony CDs

What happens is, when you put the CD in your computer. It installs some software a 'rootkit' which hides itself, and anything else beginning with $sys$ from pretty much anything that searches your computer. As such any viruses that use this exploit will be invisible to virus scanners. On top...

Next on Americas to do list - Take over time!

And out of interest, in high precision science where is 1 minute exactlly? We are aware that a second is a fairly long unit of time to physists? A time difference of 1s is small, and not such that it will affect the non scientific unit. But I suspect it would be a huge problem to astronomers...

    Music Organiser?

Most media players will sort by these and more features. Is there anything special about itunes? The main reason I dont use it, is that it has an ugly interface (to me) and it stole permissions i told it not to have (a heinous sin in my books, and grounds for removal) Ian

    Music Organiser?

Not to start a religion war.... but I use winamp, and significantly enjoy its live search feature... ie it refines the search terms and updates the results as you type. Very cool.

No the worst dream is when you dreamt you have gotten up and gone to school or whatever. Then to wake up and find you're late and not already up :(
