Famous people / celebrities using trains

Oi,some of us live ten minutes walk away from the station and use it every day!:D She isn't the prettiest of women though is she? ;) My spots: Durham Station- Tony Benn, Bob Crow and Ken Livingstone on the southbound platform (after the Miners Gala-so not that surprising) York...

    Barstow, CA

I've been there with my fiancé! There is an impressive station building, with a Route 66 museum inside. We visited in the middle of a sandstorm, so it was impressive to see the locos appearing out of the sand.

    A little East Coast game

I'd third the comment about the last minutes of the video NOT being Darlington. For a start it's too busy! I do like the bit at 1.32 coming into Darlo though, because you can see the brick building that's Matalan and over the road from there is my house.:D

    Further problems for EC mainline

I saw there was a train running to Kings Cross when I passed through Darlington station at about 13.30. However, all of the trains north were delayed or cancelled. So was the southbound bit cleared up?

Music Videos that feature Britain's Railways

That's an amazingly funny song. My contribution: The Everlasting-Manic Street Preachers http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FeU_qC5tBOE At Euston with old 125s.:D I like the bit at 1:26 when the 22.57's destination is shown as Wales.
