    Class 334 cover on Sunday. Might have been due to quite a few 318s I believe at Shields on Sunday (250/252/270 definitely there) also a few 320(321 for sure) there may have been others. There are some service Mon-Fri booked for Class 334 on Argyle line 334s must be coming up for a repaint...

    have posted this here, as was a result of fire 156495 which has been out of hours at Stranraer has today been lifted on to low loaders for return to Corkerhill A tamper came in the opposite direction 156503 remains at Girvan, and maybe also be recovered in next few days. 156503 is a failure...

    With 2024 just around the corner. No announcement has been made on fleet replacement of Class 318/320. I think it could be at least 2028 before replacement could be due, or will the Class 318/320 be expected to soldier on longer?

    There should be spare capacity on Class 334 as Milngavie to Edinbirgh only runs in peak. So without going to speculative, some of them could free up 318/320 on Argyle line to release them to Inverclyde with 380 to Barrhead/East Kilbride

    Hopefully if demands through the consultation seek a half hourly service, then maybe more of the line could be dualled. Without verging on speculative thread I do wonder if from Inverkip to Wemyss Bay could be dualled, or would that not make any difference?

    There is usually 8 diagrams that operate out of Glasgow Central high level, although you can get up to 10 units as the 6 car that goes to Shields at 08+40 usually works the ecs to Anderson, with another 6 car coming out in the evening. All 21 x 318 units were in service today

    Again please move if needs to be speclative If hotel is fully knocked down, which looking at pictures the part that is on platform 3 and at buffer ends of platform 1 and 2, just on concourse, then I wonder if platform 1 & 2 will be extended to 8 car platforms
