On a couple of recent journeys I have noticed that some Advance Standard Premium Avanti fares have been just above the Open Standard fare. Ideally I would have liked to buy the SP but because I was only about 90% certain that I would make the specified train, I ended up buying the Open Standard...

Cost of Standard Premium is £25 from Crewe but only £15 from Stafford. With a ticket from Crewe and assuming the train stops at Stafford, if I move into SP from Stafford would I still be required to pay £25 (because my ticket is from Crewe) or only £15 as I moved into SP at Stafford ? Thanks

Looking at CRE-EUS and return for Tues/Wed next week and no tickets for SP, not sold out, only tickets are Standard or First on any train I look at. Have they abandoned SP ?

I use to be able to buy an Outward Advance Crewe - Euston ticket and then get the return part of an 'Off Peak Return' coming back (which was 50% of a full Off Peak return ticket) but this no longer seems possible - am I correct ?

I have an Advance Single from Chester to London. The only 'booked' portion however on the ticket is my seat from Crewe to London. I had originally planned to use the 9.55am from Chester to Crewe to connect with the 10.29 at Crewe - I don't have a reservation on this service but it's the closest...
