    There are also foot crossings without any signalling equipment, such as the one at Abbots Ripton. They spook me at the best of times with 4 lines to get across, but with care are safe, but in this mornings weather, never!

    Drum or Samson, both pretty much the same thing, it's Dutch but sold both in the UK and abroad. If possible get it duty paid from over the channel. You'll see it in the UK for close to the price of Old Holborn or Golden Virginia, but someone's ripping the smoker off. Duty paid in Belgium...

    The British Military train rerun...

    I still have my menus from a trip across to Berlin and back on that train, and a copy of the manning list, including the Russian stamp of acceptence. I nearly sold them on Ebay once, in a moment of madness, but glad I didn't. If there's any interest I'd be happy to put scans up here...
