Things are gathering a pace. I haven't been down there in since it closed. Its also worth going east because I believe they have cleared the vegetation off the route to bletchley as well.

Not a particular fan of the blue tiles but at least its a much better provision than what is there today. I thought I read somewhere that this was little bit west of site currently used?
Also if it is going to be electrified 4 years after this I wonder if they are going to do any preparatory...

I went past yesterday and they have cleared all the lineside vegetation between the two lines where the new curve is to go in.
Does this mean all the legal hurdles are resolved or is this just prep work?

If your using 3G for internet access you may struggle if you need to be permanatly connected (bit of emailing should be fine). Signal will vary, drop out, switch to 2G Gprs speeds especially in the more hilly parts.

Organization was fantastic... no waiting at any point, javelin back to St. Pancras during mid afternoon was really quiet... Really impressed... and a credit to all those...
We are going to the Olympic park for a 10am event tomorrow. We are coming in to Marylebone. The games travel planner reckons;
Marylebone -> Baker Street -> Met -> Aldgate -> Liverpool Street and out to the park.
