    Inconveniently Sited Stations

Really?? I travel there every 2 or 3 weeks and I think the stations are very conveniently located, a matter of 3 minutes maximum walk from the city centre

Delay Repay on split tickets with advance and buy on day tickets combination

I have just received a reply from them, they are sending a cheque for £14.25 within the next 14 days, which from what your all saying should be about right. (25% of the off peak return and 50% of the advance single)

Delay Repay on split tickets with advance and buy on day tickets combination

I had a feeling that I was due more but wasn't sure on the exact amount. Their email is very misleading as well because it says half the cost of the journey, which implies it should be £20.95 in total and not £13.95

Delay Repay on split tickets with advance and buy on day tickets combination

All the tickets I held was an advance single from Bradford interchange to Peterborough at £14 and an off peak return from Great Yarmouth to Peterborough (or the other way around as I was on the return leg of the journey) which cost £27.90. I was the only passenger.

Delay Repay on split tickets with advance and buy on day tickets combination

I have had a reply from East Midlands Trains, I'm trying to work out how £6.97 is half of £41.90. I have attached the email they have sent me because I'm sure that I should have been given more.

Delay Repay on split tickets with advance and buy on day tickets combination

Hi guys, just wanting some advice. I brought a return from Great Yarmouth (GYM) to Bradford (BDI) for travel on Fri 9 Nov, return Mon 12 Nov. Outward journey was fine, but I was delayed on the return journey. I had a off peak return from GYM to Peterborough (PBO) and 2 advance singles from PBO...

The tv fixtures were decided before the season started, and just how the quirk of the fixtures threw up a double header of Newcastle v Wolves. The cup fixture was drawn at the end of August

That competition is a complete joke. Under 23 teams from championship/Premiership being allowed to play in it and from the attendances the fans agree it is a joke. I believe the highest attendance was 3500 at Bramell Lane (Sheffield Utd playing Leicester U23) while only 392 people saw Fleetwood...

    Cricket

Hameed is not ready for test match cricket yet, but should tour with the Lions (if they are on tour this winter) Bell-Drummond is good enough to open, but only playing div 2 cricket may hinder him some what. Jason Roy could be the better choice to open alongside Cook, but who else will come in...

As a Wycombe fan I'm extremely happy with it, a 15% sell on clause means we get a nice £2.25m from the deal, which should clear most, if not all, the debts we have, and being controlled by the supporters it's all good news for the club

UEFA rules only state if it's a televised clash it can't be played at same time as their competitions, Hearts and Hibs had that problem last week, and they decided to not have game televised and kick off as normal at 7:45. They could play it on Tues March 8 but kick off would need to be 4:30pm...

    Cricket

Brendon McCullum's century wasn't only his potentially final test century, but the fastest EVER test century, scored off 54 balls, 2 balls fewer than Sir Viv Richards and (I believe) Misbah. Brendon was 82 off 50 balls, then went 6,4,4,4 in consecutive balls to bring up the world record

Man Utd v Sheffield United, Chelsea v Scunthorpe or Orient & Tottenham v Leicester are strange choices I feel. Oxford v Swansea should of been a TV game (and not just restricted to Wales) Doncaster v Stoke and Eastleigh v Bolton should of been chosen, but the tv companies have a love in with the...

    Cricket

If this trial game (which this test match essentially is) proves day/night test cricket can work then perhaps other teams can try it out and make it more accessible for the younger generation, could perhaps sell full day tickets for £50 and the 2 evening sessions for say £30-£35.

    Cricket

It's very easy to keep on top of the time wasting tactics, tell both captains a minimum of 15 overs an hour needs to be bowled, and for every over not bowled it's 6 penalty runs per over not bowled, it'll sure Buck their ideas up so no blatant time wasting will occur again. But let's not lie, if...

    Rugby Union

who else thought Bennett's 1st try yesterday should of at least gone to the TMO. I managed to pause it at the time the ball was down and I would of said his foot was already in touch, but it would of been marginal call
