Hi, If I buy an off peak return from Nottingham to Reading going via London - if I were to use the return portion of the ticket on two separate days over a week apart would this be allowed? I do not think it would be but thought it would be worth asking.

I know the HSTs on the GWML and ECML are due to be withdrawn and replaced with brand new trains in the next year. Are there any plans to do the same on the MML? The Nottingham - London fast service surely warrants a better train?

I was waiting for 40 minutes at Barrow Upon Soar this afternoon. There were numerous fast East Midlands Trains passing by the station. What is the line speed on the MML like? It is certainly slower than the ECML and WCML.
