Correct charge for out of zones Oyster Travel.

Thanks for all the responses everyone! :D So it looks like I will get daily paper Anytime Return Tickets From Potters Bar to New Barnet as it works out a lot cheaper than the Weekly Season Ticket (I work 4 days a week - 4 x £5.40 vs £28.00).

Any ideas if they do a season ticket of a Boundary Zone ticket? Like a weekly from Boundary 5 to Potters Bar? Appreciate everyone's responses on this.

Correct charge for out of zones Oyster Travel.

But the point to point journeys don't seem to factor the fact that I have a Season Ticket/Travelcard? As the price seems to be same as a normal point to point without the Travelcard?

Correct charge for out of zones Oyster Travel.

Good Afternoon, I have an interesting update. Yesterday I had purchased my usual Zone 2-5 Weekly Travelcard which had been loaded onto the Oyster along with £10 top-up: As you can see in the morning I made a journey from Potters Bar to Seven Sisters which cost me £4.30 and then later I...

Correct charge for out of zones Oyster Travel.

Hi All, Thanks for the responses. I am currently travelling so will have to send you the screenshot later. It was from Essex Road Station but that is also in Zone 2 for which I had a 2-5 that week. I was also under the impression that the price was the full peak return fare divided by two for...

Anywhere in London but I will usually have a Weekly Travelcard to cover my journey from within the Zones but in this case let's say Seven Sisters Station.

Correct charge for out of zones Oyster Travel.

Hi All, I have recently decided to travel in from Potters Bar to London using an Oyster Card and a Zone 2-5 Weekly Season Ticket along with the appropriate amount in credit and was wondering what the correct peak charge was. At the moment it is a bit confusing - as I am being charged £4.10...

    ITAP

Thanks Mike for the reply. Does this mean that TFL recoup all the fares including those from Ockenden? I am a bit concerned myself as I travel semi regularly to Hertfordshire and get an extensions to my Z1-3 Season Tickets and by the looks of the way ITAP works I could also been seen as doing...

    ITAP

Good Afternoon All, I've been watching the "Fare Dodgers" programme on Channel 5 and for the first time have come across ITAP. There was one case in particular that stuck out - a gentleman that had been taping in at his departure station - Ockendon - and had been using a Zone 1-2 Season...

    Greater Anglia post May 2015

When I used to live in Ipswich I remember there was an 8/9 something service which was 170 and was booked to run non-stop between IPS and LST and one morning took only 54 mins. As I have said before, I also agree with others that the (extremely) poor acceleration of the 90s combined with long...

    Crossrail extension onto WCML

I think that it is interesting that everyone seems to think that there will be shortage of paths if/when this is finally constructed. I imagine that judging that this is just a feasibility report I do not see this open before HS2 and that once HS2 is open there will be a lot more paths on the...

    P2 Mapping System?

Evening Everyone, I was just curious to know if anyone knew if it was possible to access the P2 Real-Time Mapping or Tracking System that certain TOCs use to track movements of trains in real time, or if there was an (online) alternative?. Cheers

    Not PC on LM

Well the thing is that if his employer is investigating it is highly likely that he will be charged will a clause 9 for gross misconduct and sacked, which I'm sure would please a lot of the people on here.

Fare evador escapes £8606 train ticket charges

I agree with overtonchris. I think its ludacris that this person got a community service sentence when I read about the some of the stories on the prosecutions page where the TOCs are relentless in persecuting offenders for generally much less money and generally a single offence.

    Express Sprinters and 90mph running

Actually, yes they do. Class 159s that run on the west of England have a max speed of 100mph, not including overspeed. This is because they have 400hp engines compared to 350hp on a Class 158. In the cab of a 158 it says 90mph and in the cab of a SWT 159 (which I have been in numerous times) it...
