    N Gauge - Board Width

I want to create a simple two-track loop with a couple of sidings and a station or two.... I don't have much room for a model railway so N is my only option..... what's the minimum board width I'd need? (Thinking of wall mounting the whole thing).

    Celtic Sea Tunnel?

http://www.dailypost.co.uk/news/north-wales-news/underwater-tunnel-between-north-wales-8095838 £15bn, 50 years hence.... A true pipe dream? Incidentally, excellent up to date image of a Virgin HST at a First North Western-managed Holyhead to accompany the story.

    Derailment at Shrewsbury

At approx. 1420 today a Freightliner coal train derailed at Crewe Junction immediately north of Shrewsbury, blocking all lines. N Gauge

As an ex-00 modeller when I was younger, I am keen to get back into modelling when I get a house of my own. I still have all my OO kit back at my parents' house, but I've become aware of N-Gauge, and I like the fact it's smaller so therefore would take up less space. Is N-Gauge modelling any...

    Memorabilia

Am browsing eBay looking for a basic, simple BR two-arrows badge to put on my (non-work) coat lapel, so thought I'd kill two birds with one stone: 1) - How do the old BR badges with clips on the back fit on to your garment - do they have to go through a buttonhole or something? 2) - What...

    Interesting Geographical / Structural Instances

On the Cardiff to Holyhead route which I work often, there are two stations of particular interest (to me anyway!) due to their proximity to notable geographical or structural objects. Going S-N, Chirk / Y Waun is immediately preceded by, and closely followed by, two viaducts. Similarly...

Customer Service Advisor - On Train

Any idea how this works? It's the "on-train" part that appeals to me - I'd rather work on the train than in an office or booth; but does it involve any travelling or is it just platform work? https://www.comeaboard.co.uk/recruiter/users/jobsearch.php?&id=205
