Very bad day for the railways indeed. Sadly, there was another one in the early hours between Ipswich and Norwich with empty stock I think Additionally, there was also a sad incident in which someone jumped off a viaduct somewhere in Huddersfield as well.

Seems there was a major issue with signals out of Charing Cross and London Bridge last night and the delays were getting up to 2 hours according to NR website. Think the issue started just after 6, but it the delays just got worse and worse according to the web.

Now another person has been hit at New Cross Gate after the morning peak. Southern really has had it bad in the past few weeks as well as the passengers. I am sure they are doing a great job under the circumstances, but some of the twitter messages they have got are pretty apalling!

Oh dear. Some sort of signal failure has shut everthing into and out of Paddington. Report says all lines are blocked and considering there are 4 lines it must have been a major failure of some sort.
