    Seat Reservation and overcrowding.

I recently had seat reservations in Coach E on a busy TPE service. Coach E didn't exist. Do TPE have any compensation in this instance ?

    TP Express seat reservation

It's possible, but would be surprised. I think the services went on sale today. The advance purchase page on the website still says "up to 1 June". I just happened to check and noticed 28 & 29 June were available by pure luck...

I booked the following itinerary on trip.com I've since looked on Real Train Times and Northern app and it seemingly doesn't exist. How can I prove this to trip.com and get a refund? I don't intend to travel.

    Connectivity Challenges with Digital Railcard

I'm sure I read in a other thread on here that railcards stored in the trip.com app don't require data connectivity. They used to (according to the thread but not anymore). Put your phone in flight mode and try and access the Railcard. See what happens. That would be a test which mimics the...

Northern only tickets on TPE when train is cancelled

The other way round recently... Recently I had TPE advance tickets which were permitted for use on Northern when the TPE was cancelled. I didn't get it endorsed at the ticket office. I just asked the guard on the both first and connecting Northern services. Sounds like I met someone who was...

    Stansted to Gatwick

Interesting idea. Coach for the entire journey seems to take excessively long however the coach to Stratford might be an option, followed by the train. With having the kids the journey time is a consideration so I'll take a look

    Stansted to Gatwick

As it happens, the kids have got a 5-10 zip oyster. We live outside of London so I forgot about the Oysters.

    Stansted to Gatwick

Another option I have thought of is. Stansted Airport to London Travelcard Zones 1-6 Off-Peak Day Travelcard which is £44. So I would need to add on a ticket from Zone 6 to Gatwick or East Croydon to Gatwick. £9.60 £53.60 total If anyone has any other ideas I would be most grateful.

    Under 11s in London

TFL tell me: You can set the Young Visitor Discount on a standard or visitor Oyster card to enable discounted fares for 14 days. I have this alternative if the zip oyster doesnt arrive in time. But will probably switch form National Rail to tube in order to get the free travel.
