Following a post by Yorkie in the Traction and rolling stock forum, have there been any further developments on the above topic?

GWR Intercity Express Train (IEP) initial diagrams & allocations

Tiger now shows 1C80 as reservations for coach D in coach F. This usually indicates a short formed or misformed HST. It does not indicate the number of coaches.

GWR operating short 'HSTGTi' sets (see diagrams section for workings)

Also many stations do not have ramps, or trespass guards at the top. Not sure this applies anywhere in Cornwall yet.

    Great Western Electrification Progress

So did I, but I have the advantage of living near Bristol Parkway and suffering the disruption. I think you are doing a great job in documenting all of the known details of the project. I'd like to be able to provide more observations, but unfortunately my health has let me down of late and I...

    Great Western Electrification Progress

Not sure RRBs are relevant to this thread, but there are no RRBs between Swindon and Newport, Bristol Parkway is served by RRBs to and from Patchway for all GWR and XC long distance services in both directions.

Class 802 failure between Exeter and Tiverton Parkway requiring evacuation (13/09)

    GWR Class 800

Not sure 800004 has entered passenger service yet, it was reported testing the extended siding at Bedwyn last week.

GWR operating short 'HSTGTi' sets (see diagrams section for workings)

I've seen people by the hundred piling off up HST services at Plymouth. It's because the current timetable is inadequate in Cornwall, something which was acknowledged by GWR some time, and has led to signalling enhancements.

Class 802 failure between Exeter and Tiverton Parkway requiring evacuation (13/09)

Were any passengers evacuated to road transport at the LC or did they wedge all 389 of them on to the voyager?

Class 802 failure between Exeter and Tiverton Parkway requiring evacuation (13/09)

What I meant was that they could have split the sets without the need to summon a rescue train.

Class 802 failure between Exeter and Tiverton Parkway requiring evacuation (13/09)

Sorry if I am missing something simple, but if the train is formed of 2 sets, surely they haven't both got serious air leaks?

CrossCountry (XC) HST modifications including power doors

I would doubt that, I believe they're already the highest capacity trains XC operate. Who knows what will happen with the new franchise though.

    GWR Class 800

Do you have a source for that info?

Also the first passenger working of 802101 presumably?

    Great Western Electrification Progress

Clarence Yard posted this in the Class 800 thread, but I think it is relevant here.

Can anyone tell me whether 1C22 1630 Padd to Taunton and 1A98 2026 Taunton to Padd are 800 or 802 tonight?
