It’s more to the point if the passcom is operated in the part of the train there’s no crew in so if the drivers in the 455 for example and the guard is in the rear most 456 but it’s operated in the middle 456 without having to get a line block operating the EBS is the only way to get to the next...

We are instructed that if this happens between Wimbledon & Waterloo on instruction from control and phone a friend to EBS the set to the next station to clear the line. Downside of this, means come the next station the train needs to be terminated.

When I dropped my units off early hours of Tuesday morning these where the units I saw around the depot that wasn’t inside any sheds. Top list is Wimbledon side of the depot bottom list is Earlsfield side Down the side of the Maintenance shed

Yeah it is it’s 8507 & 8517 going for 4 car mainline conversion. Both are sat in depot by the fast lines in Wimbledon Park waiting to be collected.

I try have as little light inside my cab as I can at night. 455’s I have the indicator light’s dimmed the brightest thing in the cab infront of me is the Speedo, 458’s the TMS goes into a dark screensaver style on so again just the Speedo is bright, Desiro’s the TMS I Dim it as much as I can...

If you go to page 1 of this thread there's a list of all the Metro fleet on there, the 3 greyed out 455's I believe are the next ones to leave, and has which ones come off lease in Feb.

Think that’s all for now but believe there’s a few more to leave in the near future which have already stopped running. There’s also a few more to be withdrawn from service in February.

Mostly based in Wimbledon Park with the odd splattering in Clapham Yard. 8504 & 5740 are definitely down in the park tucked away noted them recently while going to pick a train up from the graveyard side of the depot.

Only difference is that Waterloo sign Reading and me and few still sign Basingstoke not many do now however. All the traction is the same, but as 455driver said more passing time at Wimbledon than Waterloo.

You're not alone MickyB89 I gave trudy a ring yesterday I'm not on the course either no provisional date for another south Gn group course as of yet either.

Yeah it was for Kgx she said that they needed people from north london on that course so my post code didn't make the cut for that course.

When I spoke to HR about my date being retracted I got given a provisional of March 21st so hopefully that'll be when I get a course, otherwise its more waiting we all didn't intend on.
