47813 ROG Picture not mine. They say imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, but I'd imagine that DRS are less than pleased to see the 'new' ROG livery as applied to 47813. Apart from the blue roof, rather than black, it pretty much looks like a DRS copy to me! :shock:

Reliably reported elsewhere online that GBRf are to use Class 47s again. They are to be long term hired to GB Railfreight from HNRC. 47853 is the first to go into the new pool and GBRf are set to collect the loco when DRS release it. The pool is for four Class 47s with 47703, 47715, and 47769...

Being reported on WNXX this morning that, subject to confirmation or otherwise, it has been indicated that Colas are to 'acquire' 50007, 50017 and 50050 from Boden Rail. I'd have thought that the likes of Freightliner might have been willing to offer a short term lease for some of their idle...

Not likely to be missed in it's new 'scenic' livery .... and I thought 66412 was bright in it's day!

WNXX reporting 66737 and 66779 transfer from Doncaster Roberts Road to the National Railway Museum. 66779 looks great in BR green, however, spoilt with the usual huge GBRf logo emblazoned down the sides. 66737 looks very odd with red-edged wheels! :o
