Spotted trainer liveried 24177 (I think) yesterday in Preston out in service on the 111. Sorry but can't access off mobile so couldn't post at time. You'd think Preston would have enough buses on a Saturday (or was half the depot in Liverpool for Fußball?)

In a suprise move (first time Frenchwood have had the type?) 24133 is operating out of Preston, someone told me 24134 is also here

Tbh Tim I think it's more a case of Bryn having received extra E400s from Manchester to replace the elderly MAN ALX300s and in typical Stagecoach fashion they get shoved out on anything lol. 600 has been almost 100% double deck on a few occasions lately

Ah thanks for that! 24159 last one I need for a photograph so that'll save me a few hours hanging around Kirkby looking for it lol

Over last few days only ones I've not photographed are (presumably Orange) 10808 and 10809. Only saw one GM MMC on the 2/X8 yesterday (10542)

Olympian design (Leyland then Volvo) lasted from 1981 to 2000 (19 years), a good solid design that was improved on/changed over the years. Just to compare, first Dennis Tridents came out S-reg in 1999 so have already managed 17 years under now the guise of ADL and I can't see the latest...

Perhaps we can finish this particular thread as not very helpful? It is very easy for a genuine, but short, reply to seem curt when that isn't the intention, as seems to be the case here.

Think he was a week premature! 27768/69/71 are at Preston now though 34745 is still out (111 not been reduced yet) and suprisingly 34808 was parked up in bus station at Preston all morning! www.railwaymedia.co.uk/Buses

I think these could be changes to come. Preston are going to need one less mini from 4th September when the 109B is withdrawn so would make sense 47494 moving then. I certainly haven't seen any of those mentioned E300s here yet, not that means they are not, but again in a few weeks the 111 is...

Yes. As there's no E300 MMC, Stagecoach are continuing to differentiate between larger and not so large ones using the same numbering systems for the E200/E300. Quite possibly there are some depots in the country where driving a full sized bus as opposed to a 'midi' (and of course a mini)...

Usual typo. When i'm captioning Stagecoach stuff always have to double check, think its cos Stagecoach's E200s are 3xxxx and E300s 2xxxx... :-)

Yes, 27717 too. Both were on 68s yesterday (20/6/16), didn't see 27717 today but 27718 was out on 111s http://www.railwaymedia.co.uk/Buses/S/Stagecoach/27000/i-DvR9dx5/A

At least four E400 heaps have returned to Preston now. Seen 19039, 19041, 19043 and 19044 so far. 19043 unusually on 9's today http://www.railwaymedia.co.uk/Buses/S/Stagecoach/19000/i-P7mvF7n/A whilst an X2 Scania was on a 1 (and a 125 Gold one made an appearance on X2 again yesterday)

It's just branding. Stagecoach have increasingly used local identities and liveries lately, Winchester have a maroon 'Kings City' livery, Corby for a long time have had an orange 'Corby star'. Probably biggest suprise is a green based livery for Norfolk Green being abandoned. Lakes Connection is...
