    Are you certain? Bournemouth certainly had lifts on P2 and P3 back in the 1970s when i worked there.

    Never been extended in the preservation era, effectedly "shortened" for run round purposes when the crossover was moved when the level crossing was put in, however the platform remains the same length.

    Brackley Centra (G.C.R.) goods shed still survives in the middle of an industrial estate, now (mis)named The Engine Shed, line closed to passengers in 1966 and freight sometime before that.
