Villa Opicina has 8 pairs of SŽ EMUs daily (terminating there), and 2 pairs of Trenitalia EMUs on the (Udine)-Trieste-Ljubljana route. Apparently there is also a daily pair of SŽ EuroCities (Maribor-Ljubljana-Trieste) but it only started this summer. There hasn’t been an EuroCity services there...

In Slovenia, local trains usually only wait for the advertised departure times at stations deemed important enough. At simple halts, the train just stops, opens the doors, and leaves - which might be a minute or so early. So it’s more like a bus service :D
