    Temporary stations

Princes Risborough northbound platform looks pretty temporary! Its a metal extension onto what was one of the through lines, hopefully it'll be knocked down and the original formation re adopted

but imagine I wanted a line just for my own trains rather than sharing with a heritage organisation, say for running today's dmu's in the future when they get withdrawn

If i wanted to build a 70mph railway on a disused line, where would i build it

Are there any un-built on, at least 10 mile stretches of track, which have not been used as a heritage railway or a test track that would be capable of building a 70mph railway as something like a rich mans train set, and if so, where is it so I can start saving up and getting planning...

Cheers for confirming that eagle, however, I'm still reluctant to believe it was an eight car train, I must check the set diagrams for this service

Trivia: Trains with unusual stopping patterns

Its what is says on the tin really, are there any trains in your area that you think have odd calling patterns, perhaps passing larger 'more main' stations and stopping at smaller stations and shaks? Just interested to know of examples on other lines that i might not venture onto so frequently...

Which TOC/ route has the worst fare evasion?

Its all very good knowing that, but acting on that is another thing. It still may not be cost effective to put ticket inspectors on those trains. AS a seperate point, I think it should be remembered that a lot of fare evasion happens against the general flow of people, that is to say, fare...
