    Greater Anglia Cancelaltions .

On Friday I travelled on the GA network and there were 168 cancellations due to signalling problems on the rural routes , the cancellations on the Norwich to Sheringham route have been ongoing for a couple of weeks , on Friday was at Ely only one service operated (Norwich to Cambridge) one of...

Have fares for ALRs , other Rover tickets ,etc gone up today 2/1/2019 ?

GA increase the price of Rovers every year including Anglia Plus , in line with the general increase I know as I buy them. This year was very different though. And in return offered travellers nothing more .IE A reduction in restrictions.

Have fares for ALRs , other Rover tickets ,etc gone up today 2/1/2019 ?

Not sure I won't be buying many more at that price sure .! Have asked GA for their rationale for doing so ,have also emailed my MP asking about 25% fare increases on GA routes. Looking forward to seeing the justification when most tickets went up 3.5% .

Anglia day ranger up 25% .

Yes and I have noticed recently that off peak advance tickets on the Harlow Essex to Norfolk western routes via Cambridge are disappearing too. Could have something to do with the bus rotes from Norwich station being included but are they really worth a £5 extra on a Anglia plus ticket.? I...

Anglia day ranger up 25% .

Hi travelling in East Anglia today and noticed the ranger tickets up by 25% , from £19 to £24, I know it’s a non regulated fare , seems a bit steep though , as they are supposedly trying to encourage more off peak travel . Not sure of the rationale for such an increase , when most fares went up...

    Delays at Norwich (29/12)

Hi does anybody know what time the signalling problems got fixed at Norwich last night 29/12/2018 a major signal failure meant hours of waiting. As both the Ger Line and The western link shut down . I heard one of the staff say its the longest outage they have known though perhaps that was not...

    Thanks to Greater Anglia staff

I would like to thank GA staff at Cambridge at 21:00 last night travelling with a disability. The station manger on duty looked after me making adjustments so I could travel, well done GA.

Disabled passenger claims Northern guard's behaviour gave her panic attack.

People do have a right to offend others sensibilities , but when travelling on trains that’s possiby not the route to an amicable resolution , in fact from expierience I know it’s not .! No it’s definitely not fair on you , and if I was that person I would hopefully see your point of view ...

Disabled passenger claims Northern guard's behaviour gave her panic attack.

Indeed and also would have ramped the situation up somewhat ,causing even more problems like pouring petrol onto a fire.

Disabled passenger claims Northern guard's behaviour gave her panic attack.

Correct but to me the term is offensive ,I would rather people be more polite but hey perhaps its just me, when dealing with people with mental health issues the language used is everything ,including the guard saying with in earshot "Want this passenger off my train" ,its all about sensitivity.

Disabled passenger claims Northern guard's behaviour gave her panic attack.

They did not but acting inappropriately as a disabled person myself I find the term offensive because to me that would be normal.

Disabled passenger claims Northern guard's behaviour gave her panic attack.

Was the person having aq panic attack ,which is a hidden disability rather then acting inappropriately on purpose.

Disabled passenger claims Northern guard's behaviour gave her panic attack.

No I agree a reasonable adjustment is a very loose term if it was for safety reasons the scooter could not remain on ,allowing it to stay would not have ben reasonable , I think scooter manufacturers need to take account of this and warn customers their scooter does not fit the requirements to...

Disabled passenger claims Northern guard's behaviour gave her panic attack.

Perhaps we could create a thread " I do not know much about hidden disabilities " instead .

Disabled passenger claims Northern guard's behaviour gave her panic attack.

No your right I come under the equality act 2010 for my disability I may be wrong but staff don't seem to get any training in "Hidden Disabilities" . Having said that a big heads up to GA staff who went out of their way to help me on at Cambridge station last night ,so there are some very good...
