Amazing resurrection really. We're a decent Test side right now... Although India away will be a tough test...

19 is definitely difficult to defend off an over if you bowl four consecutive length balls all in the hitting slot and all at the same pace. He bowled straight and at his legs to his strength - should've mixed it up with one outside off stump. It was very brainless bowling. Stokes is a...

Brendan McCullum in his 101st and final Test Match for NZ has hammered 145 from just 79 balls to recover his side from 32-3 in 20 overs to 370 in 65 overs, the side scoring 340 or so runs in the last 45 overs in excess of 7 runs per over... In reply the Aussies have carefully made their way...

    February Storms

Trees down earlier between Cosham and Fareham, currently on last train to Poole from Southampton Central (due in at 0132). Have a 0900 start tomorrow so hoping for no further alarms. Weather seems calm currently...

Great stuff from England in these two matches, particularly with the bat. Only change I'd make is Jordan out and Willey in. Leave the batting as it is as you can't instill a 'play with no fear' philosophy if you're tinkering the lineup all the time.

No rain due so not looking good. Credit to NZ who have scored freely in this match to put time back in the game to bowl as out twice and take twenty wickets. I feel 300 as a target would be a challenge so we definitely have our work cut out now

New Zealand's 523 was the tenth highest innings score in Test history where the same team went on to lose. Amazing match with over 1600 runs scored and all 40 wickets dropping!

I'll have it on in the background but it's all about the controversial voting for me - love it! :D Ireland already eliminated I see and UK entry looks poor.

    General Election 2015 - Thoughts/Predictions/Results

Politically speaking yes. Makes the Scottish Independence vote of No look a little odd now. Maybe that slight reluctance to break free held them back. Find it funny that around the time of the Scot Independence vote Labour were relieved as they could apparently have a few seats to hold in the...

Massive for Cook heading into the summer to get the century tag off his back. He's looked in good order in this series to be fair to him. 240-7 may not be as bad as it seems on this pitch - shame we don't have a front line spinner in though.

Nope. Leave them where they are. If Trott is struggling then Lyth or Robson should be blooded/reblooded this summer in the #2 slot. Ballance, Bell and Root have done well at #3, #4 and #5 and shouldn't be changed.

Stokes took the wicket of Blackwood off of a no ball as well - for all of his undoubted talent I fear there is little between the ears as he's made this mistake before.

Given that you've posted this three times, I must point out this is factually incorrect. In 2011 we were beaten in the group stage by Bangladesh but still qualified for the Quarter Finals - where we were trounced by Sri Lanka. Can I respectfully ask that you check your 'facts' before posting...

Although we could have got a few more runs, the Bowlers have to take the flack for this one. Totally clueless on how to take wickets of high quality batsman which is crucial in any Cricket.

Although I agree WI would've won even if Gayle was dismissed early the above is a ridiculous argument. Although average is important in all Cricket, strike rate is arguably more important in the shorter forms of the game and Gayle's is likely to be a lot higher than his team-mates. --- old...
