    Maltese Cross.

I have booked a journey (Via this sites excellent page!) and involves a return journey cross London from Euston to Paddington. Collected the tickets from TOD machine, as it said it was the only fulfilment option, which I understand is normal for a cross London journey. Tickets printed out, but...

    Rugby to Newbury question.

Good afternoon. My Sister wants to travel from Rugby, via London to Newbury Sat 20/5, and return Sunday 21/5. She wants to break her journey in Reading on the outbound leg, to drop her case off at the hotel in Reading, then resume her journey to Newbury. After her concert on the Saturday night...

    Rail Travel Vouchers.

I have a RTV issued in my name, not for the greatest value, (£20.00), but it took ages of arguing to get it, and would hate it to go to waste, but due to health issues I cannot {sadly!) use it before it's expiry date. Can I gift it to a friend to use?

    Coventry - London validity.

Can anyone advise me please? Is a Coventry - London terminals return ticket valid via the obvious route to Euston, and return from Marylebone (via Leamington)? Thanks.

    Off Peak saver return querie.

Hi! Just looking at a speculative trip this week to Liverpool, from Northampton, Off peak saver, outbound is straightforward, but is it valid for a return via Chester, and BOJ there? It says restriction CS applies, which would bar any travel via Manchester, and says any journey must call at...

Fare Dodgers UK: At war with the law documentary

    Raileasy.

Just tried booking a simple ticket on Raileasy, some time since I have used them, to be fair they were handy for booking to London CIV online in the past, just noticed a £2.50 booking fee on a simple £12.50 ticket. Is this a recent thing, as I cant seem to remember this charge in the past? I...

    Sailrail question.

Looking at Mark Smiths excellent 'Man in seat 61' website, an intinery he quotes fron Belfast to London via Cainryryan, dep Belfast 15.30 Ayr and Glasgow takes you on the 23.40 Lowland sleeper, all for £58.50. Obviously you don't get a sleeper berth for this, but would 'adding on' a berth be legal?

Thoughts on a Delay Replay Claim.

I have had a DR Claim rejected by Greater Anglia for a journey made on 31/3/2018. I traveled from Northampton to Great Yarmouth, via Euston, (08.57 dep), tube to Newbury Park, Rail Replacement Bus to Ingatestone, for the 11.51 Departure to Norwich, which left on time. Journey planners sent me...

Norwich to Northampton Off Peak ticket: hypothetical question if a delay caused a missed connection

I am currently sitting onboard 1P35, the 12.00 from Norwich to London. The train has had problems, 50 yards out of the platform at Norwich, the train came a (quick) stand, and was declared a failure, we all transferred to the train at the adjacent platform and left 13 minutes down. I am now...

    Valid route?

I am looking at a journey for this Saturday, and would like to check if I would like to do is valid. Using a SVRoff peak return (£50.55 with a railcard) from Northampton to Great Yarmouth, I know it is valid via Kings Cross and Cambridge, but would it be valid to travel via Cambridge, Newmarket...

Fatality 2/4/17 near Bridgwater. (Now established no train involved)

Currently sitting on 1V48, at Signal B74 just North of Bridgwater, with reports that the Train in front has struck a person. Thoughts go out to All involved.

    West Highland Railway.

Just after advice! I know that the All Line Rover is valid on the Ffestiniog Railway, but does anyone know if it is valid on the WHR? The fact that the two Railways seem to be a 'similar' entity, I would rather hope they had the same ticket acceptance. Thanks in advance.

    Ticket collection from a machine.

I would be interested on peoples thoughts on this, and is now a hypothetical question, as I collected my ticket at nearby Rugby. I bought a ticket online today, for use tomorrow, and chose the 'collect at station' option. As I happened to pass my local station (Long Buckby) earlier today...

    All Line Rover Booking.

I wonder if anyone on here can help? I have just tried to book an ALR, 7 Day at my local station, a London Midland one, to commence on 27/3/2017. The clerk on duty said that he was not sure how to issue one, as he had never issued one before, he tried, but couldn't get it to book that far...

    Anglian 37's.

I thought the T&t 37's were booked for four round trips between Norwich and Great Yarmouth on Saturday's. Single coach (153?) was on the booked working, with locos and stock stabled behind Norwich station. Has this gone over to a M-F working?

    SailRail Question.

Just a query about SailRail validity. I plan to travel on the 07.30 Befast-Cairnryan ferry next week, and the route planner (virgin) sends me from the ferry terminal on a Link coach to Ayr, to Glasgow, then to Manchester, Milton Keynes then Northampton. I want to travel from the ferryport...

    Northampton to Birmingham validity.

I have bought tickets for this route for donkeys years for (usually) off peak leisure travel, and the ticket has always (as far as I recall) been for B'Ham New Street. I bought a Day return on Saturday, Ticket says 'B'Ham Stns', the TVM clearly showed validity to New St, Snow Hill, and Moor...

    Rebooking tickets and reservations

I have booked a 1st class ALR, and booked berths on three sleepers (two Scottish, and one FGW). The problem I have is that circumstances beyond my control (thank you large stripey bus company) mean that I have to postpone my week on a train by four weeks. I booked my ALR at Euston, along...
