If anyone's wondering about LNER/UNIDAYS, they're telling people on twitter it's expected to be back by the end of the month.

Does anyone know if there's an any permitted off-peak return anywhere in the system valid from York to Newcastle that's reasonably priced? Singles are £27.50 but would prefer return allowing BOJ if possible even if slightly more than £55.

Has anyone tried to book these at a ticket office as previously suggested? (& if so does it need to be a TPE-managed office?)

I doubt there's case law or published explicit guidance on this, but in practice I'd be surprised if they said no if you turned up at the station & said you wanted to travel the previous evening but didn't due to the warning.

Are TPE ending their TOTUM discount? It's not applying for journeys beyond late-ish January as far as I can see. Edit - feel like I'm going mad here after the same happened with LNER a few days ago, but all seems to be working now.

You can get one new code every 24 hours. It was definitely working in earlyish December but I've not managed to get anywhere for a couple of weeks now. This has happened before & been sorted without explanation...

Has anyone else with Unidays access been unable to get discount with LNER recently? I know they exclude certain dates but it's not that - just nothing is coming up as discounted at all.
